Our casual à la carte dining is the jewel in the crown of Hay Point. Our Executive Chefs have curated a menu that is sure to please all tastes.
Head Chef, Kane Cooper, hails from the Mackay region and has spent the majority of his career up and down the beautiful Queensland coast working in some of the country’s premier restaurants. Coming from humble beginnings as an apprentice at Pommies Restaurant on Noosa Sound under the guidance of Chef/Owner, Stuart Webster, through to the completion of his trade on 5-star Hayman Island at the well-regarded Azure Restaurant, Kane has a passion for local quality produce – in particular, the amazing seafood that Queensland has to offer.
With classic French training and a love for Asian-influenced dishes, Kane brings fresh, balanced and well-thought-out cuisine to the Blue Roof Bistro including some favourites such as the ever-popular beef cheeks, Asian-inspired pork ribs, and beautiful line-caught Spanish mackerel.

Our breakfast, lunch and dinner menus feature homely comfort food, steak, seafood, Asian fusion, and all of your favourites. Of course, classic pub meals are also available and you are sure to find the perfect meal for any occasion.

Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
